We're not expat advisors looking in from the outside — we grew up here. We know this region the way only locals can.
Wahaj and Nabeel grew up navigating Abu Dhabi — from choosing the right neighbourhood to figuring out which bank actually gets you a decent mortgage. Anam grew up in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and knows the KSA landscape inside out.
Over the years, we helped dozens of friends, colleagues, and family members figure out the same things: which visa to apply for, which area suits their kids, how to set up a bank account without losing your mind. It was informal, repetitive, and deeply personal.
So we built Arrive — a way to give every newcomer the same head start we gave our own friends. Part technology, part lived experience, fully personal.
"We're the friends who pick you up from the airport and show you where to find the best karak chai."
— Wahaj, Nabeel & Anam
Gulf natives. Finance, marketing, and operations veterans. Building this for you.
We believe arriving somewhere new should feel like a beginning, not a bureaucratic nightmare. The Gulf is one of the most dynamic regions in the world — we want your first weeks here to reflect that.
Part technology, part human, fully personal. We're building the guide we wished existed when we were starting out — someone who knows the real answers, not just the official line.
Not a corporate pivot. Not a fintech hustle. This started because we genuinely couldn't stop helping people.
Which neighbourhood has the better school run? Which bank doesn't ghost you? Which visa office is faster on Tuesdays? That's in our heads, not on any website.
We started by helping friends for free. The business came second. That order matters — it shapes every decision we make about what to build and how to price it.
The Gulf gets a bad reputation for being transactional. We want to change that — one relocation at a time. If you move here and feel welcomed rather than shuffled, we've done our job.
We've helped people land in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, and everywhere in between. Let's figure out where you're going.
